KALIHI BIG IDEAS PROJECT
On November 14, 2026, Saturday, 9am-12noon, Kalihi Elementary School is hosting a one-day Community Build Day event. This will be an excellent opportunity to show your community support. Be sure to wear your Rotary Club of Honolulu t-shirts.
The Don Anderson Youth Leadership Fellows cohort has initiated this project, and RCOH is contributing 4 to 6 wooden picnic tables. The picnic table kits have been purchased and have to be assembled and painted. If the work is not completed on November 14, a follow-up workday is scheduled for the following Saturday, November 21.
Kalihi Elementary School is located at 2471 Kula Kolea Dr, Honolulu, HI 96819, off Likelike Hwy., 1.8 miles north of School Street. Kalihi Elementary is also collecting school supplies including dry erase markers, crayons, colored pencils, erasers and art supplies.
Lunch and water will be provided. Contact Greg Lui-Kwan at (808) 225-7677 for further information.
