CAROL LIN
Former CNN Anchor
What Happens When News Breaks; Our Triumphs, Tragedies and Writing a Memoir
Author, former CNN anchor/correspondent Carol Lin, the first to report the 9/11 attacks, will take us behind the scenes at CNN on that day, plus share her process for writing her first book, including the ethics of writing intimate details about the people closest to her, a list-see for all of us with our own stories to tell.
Her book, “WHEN NEWS BREAKS, a memoir of love and war by Carol Lin”, is available now on Amazon to arrive on 12/9! Barnes & Noble, Ala Moana, has also ordered 24 special-edition/signed copies.
See store manager, Haunani, for info.
At our Dec 9th event, tell Carol Lin you have purchased, and she will give you a personally signed bookplate!
Arrive at 11:30 am for fellowship and socializing prior to our 12:00 pm meeting start!
Preregistration Preferred, but Walk-ins welcome
