At a time when the world seems tumultuous, can words of wisdom bring us personal perspective, tranquility, and comfort? Delve into a thoughtful and at times whimsical discussion of wisdom with Dr. Hedges. It beats watching FOX News or CNN.
Dr. Jerris Hedges is a Professor of Surgery and Dean Emeritus of the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). He leads an NIH-funded research program to address health disparities in HawaiĘ»i. Dr. Hedges is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and he is known internationally as the founding co-editor of Roberts and Hedges’ Clinical Procedures in Emergency Medicine, now in its seventh edition. Dr. Hedges has served in national emergency medicine leadership roles including the President of both the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and the Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine.
