An Update on the Red Hill Crisis
Kenny has served as the director of the Department of Health since January 2023. Under his watch there have many unexpected crises including the Maui Fires and Red Hill.
Dr. Lassner is the 15th president of the University of Hawaii. He has been at UH since 1977 and taught computer science, communications, business and education classes.

Our Rotary Club of Honolulu Rotary Action Team project will improve the facility for health, structural safety and to elevate youth pride in their temporary home. Plans have been under way since April 2023 between Dawn Marie, Reese Liggett, and Phil Wright in partnership with RYSE Director Carla Houser, Community Engagement Coordinator Kela Pulawa, and most recently Facilities Manager Cherise Kupahu.

The Redevelopment of Straub Medical Center
In the redevelopment plans, the new Straub Medical Center is being designed to offer flexibility so the needs of patients in various circumstances can be addressed.

She is a proud Rotarian with perfect attendance. On a personal note, she holds a purple belt in Shorin-Ryu karate, is a concert violinist with the La Jolla Symphony, and plays the electric violin professionally with a rock band.
