PARKING UPDATE
Parking is available at the Outrigger Canoe Club for our February 6 meeting!
We appreciate your flexibility with the parking situation at OCC. We received an email this week that said guest parking will be available for “a few weeks.” We don’t have exact dates. We will continue to update you on your parking options as we receive information. Please understand we do not control the timing of messages from OCC or their decisions relating to parking. Mahalo for being flexible!
February 6: Hybrid Lunch Meeting
Guest Speaker Governor Neil Abercrombie
A CONVERSATION WITH
NEIL ABERCROMBIE
We are trying out a new concept at our lunch meeting this week. We are hosting a Conversation with Neil Abercrombie. Instead of a formal presentation, this is a great opportunity to come ask questions and engage in dialogue with this influential leader in our community. Come prepared with your questions and get ready for an interactive meeting!
Dr. Lassner is the 15th president of the University of Hawaii. He has been at UH since 1977 and taught computer science, communications, business and education classes.
Paul Harris week is a throwback to the foundations of Rotary when meetings rotated between members’ offices to facilitate fellowship. The concept behind Paul Harris week is to celebrate our members’ vocations and provide an opportunity for members to deepen their relationships with each other. Instead of meeting at the OCC, we meet at each other's homes, businesses or in the community.

Wouldn’t it be great to actually know how to read a person “like a book?” You can. Incorporating the tips and tactics, Dr. Patrick will reveal in an entertaining and interactive format, how to perceive the most important clues about other people, what it means, and how to use the information you glean.
She is a proud Rotarian with perfect attendance. On a personal note, she holds a purple belt in Shorin-Ryu karate, is a concert violinist with the La Jolla Symphony, and plays the electric violin professionally with a rock band.
Pau Hana Time! Let's get together after work to celebrate and socialize!
Bring prospective members. We will be discussing our recent service project at RYSE and sharing what Rotary is all about!
Let's get together in the private covered garden area at the Lei Stand! No, not the one at the airport... the one located at 1115 Bethel Street in Chinatown! Heavy Pupus will be served. No Host Drinks.
