A Message from
President Tom Coyne

Aloha All,

We were back at The Outrigger Canoe Club for our usual Tuesday lunch meeting with another great speaker in Dr. Naoto Ueno the Director of the University of Hawaii Cancer Center and very timely with the center receiving confirmation of their NCI certification.

One of my favorite events is when our Club schedules Restaurant Week.  There are many choices to make, and I hope to see you at one of the venues.

The Board of Directors of your Club met after Tuesdays Club meeting which we do on the second Tuesday of each month.  The Board unanimously voted to schedule our Club meetings at The Pacific Club starting in January 2025.  We have one more meeting scheduled at The Pacific Club this year, December 3rd, and all other meetings will be at The Outrigger Canoe Club as usual.

Lastly, you will be receiving a letter from your Club President and Board Members outlining the details of a new fund that is being formed to help with our Club Operating Expenses.  This fund is being called "The Coke and Lawrance Operations Fund".  You will be able to fully understand what and why we feel the need to start this Not Tax-Deductible Fund.

Best regards,
Tom Coyne
President
The Rotary Club of Honolulu.
