We appreciate your flexibility with the parking situation at OCC. We received an email this week that said guest parking will be available for “a few weeks.” We don’t have exact dates. We will continue to update you on your parking options as we receive information. Please understand we do not control the timing of messages from OCC or their decisions relating to parking. Dr. Lassner is the 15th president of the University of Hawaii. He has been at UH since 1977 and taught computer science, communications, business and education classes.
He received his BA and Masters degrees in Economics Summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois and his PhD in Communication and Information Sciences from UH.
He will be retiring at the end of this year after serving as UH president for 11 years.
