A MESSAGE FROM
PRESIDENT TOM COYNE

Aloha and Happy Holidays,

Our Club Holiday Party on Monday was a great success, thank you Clif and his crew for all you did.  The Pacific Club was a very intimate environment that allowed lots of fellowship and catching up with members and their significant partners.  Dana Lane and her band set the mood and into the Holiday Spirit.

Bob and Susan Robinson received much deserved recognition for their many decades of membership in The Rotary Club of Honolulu.

We will not be meeting this Tuesday because of the Holiday however I look forward to seeing everyone next year on January 7th at The Pacific Club.

Have a very Happy New Year!

Best regards,
Tom Coyne
President
The Rotary Club of Honolulu

HONORARY MEMBERS FOR LIFE!

MAHALO TO RCOH MEMBERS AND FRIENDS WHO HEADED THE CALL ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21 TO HELP IHS! SERVICE ABOVE SELF IN ACTION!
SHAKA SANTA HAS BEEN BUSY!

Saturday, December 21, as The Winter’s Solstice began, I remembered to dream while I was awake (Elf Me’s Inspiration) and, found myself MCing the Club 100’s HQ & Charlie Chapter Christmas Party, while going Red One; Shaka Santa Rick, singing, dancing (or whatever you want to call those silly gyrations), handing out gifts, telling a few corny jokes, and calling (everyone gets a prize)  BINGO. Ho Ho Ho!

…Just need a little Magic Dust & It’s SHOWTIME!
Ho Ho Ho…

That was my third 2024 December Shaka Santa FunFest!  My Takeaway is very simple;

To Give is to Live,
To Laugh is to Smile & to Hug is the Humble Gratitude Attitude of No Expectations, Peace, Love, Harmony,

This Christmastime and all the time…

Here’s a tip of my Hawaiian hand-made Shaka Santa Stocking Cap, wishing you the most joyous holiday season and new year ever!

Ho Ho Ho,
Shaka Santa Rick

Holomua: Innovating for a Better Future

This year’s theme Holomua: Innovating for a Better Future emphasizes the fusion of tradition and technology, inspiring Hawaiʻi’s youth to harness technical innovations to tackle community challenges and build a sustainable future. It empowers students to be voices for change while celebrating the powerful synergy between cultural wisdom and cutting-edge technology.
