July 11: Hybrid Lunch Meeting - Club Connections

Members told us in the lunch meeting survey they wanted more time for fellowship, opportunities to meet new people, Club announcements, and learning about our members. So we listened!

The goal of Club Connections meetings is to highlight two outstanding members of the club, celebrate club projects, create deeper relationships, brainstorm service projects, and have fun together!

July 18: Hybrid Lunch Meeting - Sylvia Luke

Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke is the State of Hawaiʻi’s 16th lieutenant governor, the third woman to hold the office, and the highest-ranking Korean American in a U.S. statewide position. Sylvia was first elected to the Hawaiʻi State Legislature in 1998, where she served until 2022.

Lieutenant Governor Luke is leading the state’s broadband expansion efforts and the initiative for universal access to preschool, Ready Keiki, to support the education and futures of Hawaiʻi’s keiki.

We would love to hear if you have any questions for Sylvia! You can CLICK HERE to submit questions you would like to ask her.

July 25: Hybrid Lunch Meeting - RYLA & Rotaract

Life’s future leaders are our youth! Come listen to the impact RYLA has had on all who participate and what’s planned for RYLA 2024. Joana, Andy and Rick will talk about their RYLA experiences.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience where youth develop skills as a leader while having fun and making connections. Hawai'i is one of 500 Rotary International districts worldwide sponsoring RYLA camps.

WALK WITH US TO PREVENT SUICIDE

The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.

Help support our community in suicide prevention and connect with your fellow Rotarians!
