ROTARY ACTION TEAM PROJECT
Many opportunities throughout the month of May
Calling all members & friends!

This project begins May 6th and runs through May 25th on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Come in the morning or join in the afternoon or BOTH!

We need both DIYers and all other skills (sweep, wash, dust, scrub, vacuum)!

YMCA of Honolulu NEEDS YOU!  The help request is to refurbish residential facilities at the Atkinson Central facility.   YMCA of Honolulu provides housing at low cost and low-barrier to those who are housing insecure, or in need of transitional housing - many are houseless-but-working folks. ATKINSON'S affordable housing fills a critical need for this population.

YOUR help will bring more residential units online so those on a daily waitlist can gain access to the services and get off the street!
- general repair/fix up, painting, housecleaning -
Something for everyone!
May 28: Hybrid Lunch with Guest Speaker, Neal Milner

Outrigger Canoe Club Parking Garage Update!

Parking at the Outrigger will be limited to Outrigger Canoe Club members with decals only starting June 10.  See below for alternative parking options.  Outrigger originally told us parking would be limited starting May 22.  This is an evolving situation that we cannot control.  We will keep you updated as Outrigger gives us information. Mahalo for your flexibility and patience!

Alternate Parking: There is usually ample parking around Kapiolani Park on Kalākaua Avenue at only 25 cents per half hour (coin meters - so bring quarters!) For those who can walk a little further, Jim Harrow alerted us to Paki Avenue on the mauka side of the park that has free parking with no time limit.  Please let President Joanna know if you have mobility issues or need assistance with parking and she will connect you with members who can provide assistance.  Click here to email her!
