RYSE Community Service Project
Kicking off October 21-November 16; Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
New exterior siding will be going onto the RYSE Shelter; Home Depot Iwilei will be joining in for materials and its volunteers alongside us Rotarians and friends.
Plan to come weekdays if you can and Saturdays for sure.

Aloha Rotarians and Friends of Rotary—what if RCH planned a community service project and nobody came. See attachment for gist of our RYSE Project and why RYSE is important to our community.
We are at RYSE Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays through November 16. Looking for small crews Mondays and Thursdays (brown-bag lunch) and 15 or 20 on Saturdays (be sure to reserve a lunch). Sunscreen, sleeves, and hats in order—we are outside. Bring drinking flask—plenty of cold water available to refill it.
The project scope is big—the rewards for RYSE are big—our Club does big things—turning that ugly duckling of a WW2 building into a jewel of the Ko`olau. Come on out and be part of it—AM, PM, or most of the day
(8 AM-4 PM). A few people have gotten us started. Big thanks to Rick, Robert, Kent and Dennis.
Home Depot is supporting us with thousand$ for materials and its volunteer employees—a rental truck full of paint, caulk, and glue today.
A Club that plays/works together knows and appreciates one-another better. And is appreciated by the community because it is more than a lunch club.
