TENWALD Join us to "Talk Story" Mark E. Recktenwald was sworn in as Chief
Justice of the Supreme Court on September 14\, 2010. He joined the Suprem
e Court as an Associate Justice on May 11\, 2009\, and previously served
as Chief Judge of the Intermediate Court of Appeals beginning in April 200
7. Prior to his appointment to the Intermediate Court of Appeals\, Reckt
enwald served as the director of the Department of Commerce and Consumer A
ffairs\, as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Hawai#
i\, and as an attorney in private practice. He received his undergraduat
e degree from Harvard University and his law degree from the University of
Chicago. Walk-ins welcome! We welcome walk-ins and know some of you don
't know if you can make it until the last minute. Please join us! Regi
